Terre d'exil

welcome back, blog buddies.
Just a question: why did you change the address of the blog?

Jallal EL Idrissi said...

Glad to see u back my favorite Blue Velvet!! 3firita dans le bon sens du terme!!

Actually we didn't change the address of the blog.

When we created the blog, we wanted (Karim & me) to divide it into many sections covering different issues (morroccan political islam, etc), so we created several blogs but linked to each other so that each blogger can switch from one to the other in a natural way. so http://arabobservers.blogspot.com/ is still the "official" blog nalme but is accessible from all the others (like http://arabobsmoroccanissues.blogspot.com/) and vice versa.

There is a problem, I agree, and I'm just realizing that. The sections are not clearly visible. They should be at the top and with a larger font size and maybe a different color.

Take care Najlae.

I'm coming to Morocco in chaa Allah in a couple of weeks.

Hopefully, I can manage to write something before then. The problem is, after reading your own post and the brain stuff, I might get a hard time to come up with anything. You mixed up mu Chaabane and Ramadhan.

Bon voyage!

u r too much. I live in Paris now. Believe me, I have never been that busy the way I am now for at least a month and half and it won't stop until after a couple of weeks from now. Totally crazy. But you see that I'm still sane and able to write!!

Probably, Karim will post something dense sometimes in the near future. hadak rah mazal matkellem!!

I have much to say and now that I'm blogally alive again, it's just question of time, and then I know that the mix of BlueVelvet and Najlae gonna set up the show in this blog.

I know your brain, I know yhour brain...

hahahaha no you don't know!
I'm surprised that you moved to paris :p :p what's up with the downgrade :p
it's been 24 hours already that you promised the note about the postcard.
I'm not great at debates. But i like to listen.
Cheers

It took me time to make the decision. But I might surpirse u, it's not a downgrade, it's an upgrade as far as I'm concerned. I won't dwell on that because u are giving me here a very interesting subject to address in the blog.

Yes, it's been 24 hours.
Lmgharba mam3ahom kalma yak, hahha. I just tried to find the card again, to no avail. It's somewhere close by but I'm lost these days and this tells a lot on how busy I am.

>I'm not great at debates.

u r lying al 3firita

En attendant de retrouver ma carte postale, je commencerais d'abord by a long overdue post, which I didn't at the appropriate time cos I was "dead" blogally speaking.

welcome Back Jallal

J. “I know your brain, I know yhour brain...”

N. “hahahaha no you don't know!”

Najlae, My “I know your brain, I know your brain...” meant for me that I know your brain in the sense that I don’t know anything that lies there! Really. Just by reading a couple of your pieces in your blog, this is obvious to me. The question that arises is how tu tombes terre à terre pour produire un article ou un document TV sans sombrer dans la tentation of being yourself.

Larbi,

Dear Jallal,
It is a great pleasure to read your blog. Thanks for sharing this with us.
About exile, please check my post O Retorno Necessario: http://anaclaudiamenezes.blogspot.com/2008/08/o-retorno-necessrio.html. It is in Portuguese but there is also another reference for a film from Tony Gatlif.

Beijos,
Ana

Hi Ana,

Nice to hear from you! Yes, your post is in the same spirit as mine. "O retorno necessario" is a question that's in every mind, whether consciously or unconsciously.

I hope to find "exilios" and others films from Tony Gatlif.
